Good Morning...I would like to know if anyone has used or using an In-Ground Waste Digestive Disposal System similar to this

http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?pcatid=570

We have a winter home in West Palm Beach Florida and a very small backyard which abuts a golf course.  We go back and forth throughout the year and will be bringing our ALD Oliver with us.  As I begin planning for this I got to thinking about what to do with the poop!!!  Although this is a "stinky" subject, I'm looking for a practical solution.

If you have a sewer output line in the yard your dog poos in... this is by far THE BEST solution.  You just flush it down the drain!

I never knew that existed, thanks so much I'm definitely going to look into it!!

We tried the one you posted and it didn't work. We have multiple dogs and it couldn't handle that much poo.  Also the chemicals leached into the ground and killed the plants.  What a mess.

I live on a lake that is a source of drinking water for the community. While I am on a sewer line, some people in remote areas are on septic that are closely minitored. This "Doggie Dooley In-Ground Waste Digester Systems" would never be permitted. Better to flush the poo down the toilet and send it to the waste water treatment facility where it con be properly treated. Either this option or pick it up in a environmentally friendly plastic bag and dispose of the poo in the trash where it can be taken to a landfill.
Adina, I haven't seen this disposal method before. Very environmentally friendly. Thanks for pointing it out.

Seriously, it is the BEST THING EVER when it comes to dog poop!  I can't believe more people don't have one.  It is limited by where the sewer output line is so if it is not available or not in a spot that is near where your dog poops (i.e. front yard vs. back yard) then it is not helpful.  But for everyone else...so nice to just 'flush' it down!

Thank you all for your responses......I love the idea of the Doggie Doo Drain!  However it won't work for me because the sewer drain is located in my front yard :(    I think flushing it down the toilet is going to be the only option  unless anyone I can teach Oliver to use the toilet!!
