Does this sound like a common cold?
Ok so I woke up this morning to the sound of snorting? At first I thought I was dreaming but then I heard it a few more times. Infact my doodle kept doing it for a little while. I called him over to the bed to make sure he was ok, and he seemed to be. We were playing outside and he sneezed out a lot of snot. Sorry I know kinda gross but it was clear. I have never had a dog who was snorting before and do you think he has a cold?.............thanks

Sounds like the beginnings of KC to me... I would get to the vet for an antibiotic...

As someone with a dog currently dealing with Kennel
cough it sounds exactly like it to me. I would go to the vet - Snickers got both an antibiotic and a cough suppressant pill. Good luck and hope he feels better soon!

Oh no Barb...tell doodle to feel better. Our kitty is like this almost 24/7...allergies. Predison has helped him.

UPDATE!! WEll my vet said it wasn't KC so that is good!! He said it's a allergy and gave me some pills......

Aha, I knew it sounded like what Calla had late last fall. Glad it's nothing major.

He did say he thought this was early for an allergy, but our nights are getting into the 50's & 60's for a few weeks....

almost the same thing happened except no snot, he was making a snort mix between crying.
