Does anyone's Doodles like to get a toy or a bone whenever someone comes over and try to show it to them or give it to them?  Everytime someone comes over Hunter immediately gets a bone or a toy and tries to show it to them ~ she doesn't want them to take it or throw it she just tries to show them while she is greeting them! It is so funny!

How funny! We were just talking about this. One of our "girls", Amy, has to find something to put into her mouth to greet you when you come through the door. Sometimes it's a toy, sometimes a sock. Just Tuesday she greeted me with one of my tennis shoes! And all the while, her "tail"feather is shaking like crazy! She's a funny girl....
Quincy grabs the nearest shoe and his behind is going absolutely crazy. He gets so excited he doesn't quite know what to do with himself. It sure beats getting jumped on.
My little guy, Angus, does this, always with a stuffed toy. We've decided it's like a child with a pacifier, to quell his excitement and anxiety. Does that sound plausible to you folks?
Chewie always runs to grab something in his mouth also. It's so amusing to hear what a common trait this seems to be in our doods.
Neely does this as well. He is a golden doodle.
