Does your doodle like to spoon? How does your doodle cuddle?

I have two doodles and when it comes to cuddling, they couldn't be any different. Sophie Bear is not a cuddler. She bounds up on the couch or the bed at night at her own discretion, and curls up at the end by my feet. She only tolerates my attempts to cuddle her, and usually squirms away after only a few seconds. If she could speak she would roll her eyes and say "mommmm, you're smothering me!"

 

Winston on the other hand, doesn't go on the couch and he will wait for permission to come up on the bed, looking at me with his adorable pooh-bear face. When I say ok, he jumps up and curls up right against me, head on the pillow and let me wrap my arms around him while we fall asleep together. He eventually gets hot and goes down to his own bed but we always get in a good snuggle and I wouldn't have it any other way.

 

Does anyone else out there cuddle with their doodles? What is your doodles favourite way to cuddle?

Jane, your two are just sooo sweet together, I love the picture of them cuddling. Bella would be fine with Murphy cuddling like this, but Murphy would be up and outta there in a flash. You;d think Bella had set him on fire, he moves so quick when we get too close. Well, unless HE wants to cuddle. This is as close as Murphy gets to her.

Luna is most definitely a cuddler.  It was one of the ways the breeder described her when we picked her up, and she certainly was right!

 

She HAS to be touching someone if she's on the couch with them, and if she naps with me on the bed... she has to be right up near my face.  We spoon every evening before bedtime, and sometimes in the early evening too. She likes to nap on my computer chair behind me (can't do that one with a standard doodle...) even though she takes up half of the chair and it's not that comfy for me, she seems to love it so I do it every once in a while.

 

Lately she's been more cuddly than she used to be, wanting to be ON people when she's on the couch with them instead of beside them.  Spoiled little princess ;)

Stella is a huge cuddler. One of her favorites is when my husband is on the recliner she lays between his legs, using them as her own personal bolster.

Maggie's affection is inversely related to the warmth of a room. The warmer the room, the further away she is from me. If it's really cold, she is right on top of me and cannot be budged.

 

When we are in bed, and if it's warm, she is either at the end of the bed touching my foot (or she jumps off the bed because it's too warm and sleeps at the foot of the bed). If it is cold she sleeps sprawled out over my torso, if I push her off she snuggles up as close as she can.
