Trav hasn't panicked, so far anyhow.  He's always waiting on the bed, where he can see the driveway.  He did run through the screen last summer, but that was because he was bringing me a ball, at high speed, and apparently didn't notice that the screen was closed.  Sigh.

LOL, JD did that once. We were in the yard when my DD came home from work. Jack saw her through the screen and just right through it to get to her.

When we were in FL in January we went to visit a friend and she has sliding glass doors (we don't have these and the girls aren't used to them).  When we got there I didn't realize it was open and Sophie went straight out them and there was a swimming pool.  I about panicked thing she would jump right in.  I quickly jumped up and grabbed her brought her inside and shut the screen door.  Sophie immediately turned around and started back out and ran right into the screendoor. I figured they were thinking she isn't the brightest bulb in the box.  She just didn't understand the concept of a screen.

I came home to this yesterday:

Oh no!

oh wow. those were nice cushions too!! Hops can get away with it though, he's got a cute face!

OMD - and just look at his face, guilt written all over it! Looks like ti was a lovely pillow though. lol

Ooops!

OMD ... that's a mess!

Ember is crated when I leave but she is starting to show some signs of the beginnings of separation anxiety. Lots of panting, paws at the crate door a couple times, whines and moans. Eventually she does settle down. We are working on it!

Bo did panic in the beginning.  Lots of shredded paper, toys, blinds, and a vacuum cleaner.  The anti anxiety pills the vet gave me have helped a lot, along with remembering to pull up the blinds and hide the tissue boxes when I leave :)  Actually he will steal the tissues right in front of me if he can so I think that is less panic and more obsession.

We leave Riley alone, he has demolished a few bills (ie post) and chewed a cushion ( we now remove all the cushions before going out) He mostly sleeps on our bed.  If we light the fire and have to go out we put up a fire guard but crate him and he's fine with that.  No separation anxiety which i am very thankful of as I had two previous dogs with serious anxiety issues.  One died of a heart condition ( my husband said it started when I went away for a couple of weeks)  I never want to go through that again.
