Zach was at dog school yesterday. We completed heel exercises in the outside yard and were to walk one by one back into the inside training room. When it was Zach's turn to walk past the other dogs and owners he went from alert heeling to full mode prancing - like he was walking the runway. I have also noticed that when we are walking in the neighborhood, he goes into prance mode when he sees women walking alone (not men, and not people walking dogs).

Do your doodles prance, or in other ways "strut their stuff" when they have an audience?

YES!!!!! That was one of the first things I noticed with Marabelle. I always say "look at her she's prancing" lol

Chloe prances but Myla is more of a floppy mop!

Ollie is a floppy one too! He plops and pounces.

Oliver is a big time prancer, he looks so beautiful when he praces around the back yard, you would think that he was in the show ring :)   Sasha has her own version of a prance, I call her twinkel toes :)

Yes. I call it the poodle prance as well.Sadie really struts her stuff when we are out walking on the leash.

Racey is a prancer when she is being a show-off!

Yes and that is what the neighbors say...."I saw Daisy and you or Daisy and your husband prancing by", they all say she looks like she is at a dog show.

LOL

What a fun discussion - thanks so much for taking a moment to talk about your prancing, dancing, stalking, and walking doodles, regardles of how they get from here to there - they are the greatest!!!

Cindy

Ned prances.  It is a very cute look for him.
