- About Me:
- I am a nurse and I teach and conduct research on quality of life in people with lupus and scleroderama. One grown child and two grandkids who live out of state. I have been a multiple pet owner through out my adult life. In addition to dogs I also have koi and a goldfish ponds.
- What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
- Zachary a chocolate labradoodle joined my family on 7/30/11 at 8wks. He has 3 French Bulldog siblings Bruno, Zoey and Gracie.
- Where did you get your doodle(s)?

- Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
- I have had pugs and bulldogs for the past 20 years - wonderful dogs, but many health problems and tragically short lives. In the past 2 years my elderly pugs both passed away - they were litter mates and died about 9 months apart. When I decided to add another dog I started to look for a dog with less health problems, a longer life expectancy and less shedding. I also wanted a big dog that is smart, good with other dogs, and can do outdoor activities. Labradoodles fit the bill.

Hi cindy...I was purusing the forum today and saw your discussion about your doodle Zach's surgery. I noticed that you mentioned your Frenchies. That caught my eye because my son has a 1 yr 5 mth old French Bulldog...and he is a brindle and looks so much like one of your frenchies. His name is Wilfred. Our Goldendoodle Thomas is 3 yrs old now....and Wilfred is here almost every day. Wilfred adores our Goldendoodle Thomas and jumps at his ears and wants to wrestle constantly. I am still not sure how Thomas feels about that....he is such a calm happy go lucky guy I think he would put up with anything. I see in one of your pictures...the same thing is going on. Thomas is HUGE though....almost 29 inches at his shoulders...weighing 96.5 lbs. Wilfred the frenchie has to jump very high to do this. Then they collapse on the floor wresting. Wilfred is not that friendly to other dogs though....very protective. Any advice on this? I will try to post pictures of the two of them together and post them on your page. BTW...Happy Thanksgiving...we live in Toronto Canada...had our thansgiving the first week of October!
