Does your doodle sleep on your head?

Does your doodle ever try to sleep on YOUR pillow and move you out of the way?  This morning DH got up earlier than usual for work and I slept another 30 minutes.  Peri started walking around so I invited her on our bed - the usual routine.  Instead of sleeping at my feet, she climbed on my pillow and pushed me over. 

 

DH came back in from his shower and started laughing hysterically.  He snapped this photo - WARNING:  not a pretty sight of me!!!  Yuck! Can't believe I am actually sharing this!

Halas does this to me, too!  Same side of the bed and everything.  When he thinks it's almost time for the alarm to go off, he'll get near my head and plop down.  He'll wedge himself in the tiny area between me and the edge of the bed.  When he's there, he can't really take over my pillow.  Sometimes, he'll go to my other side, and plop down there, mostly on top of me.  His head will be on my pillow, and he'll slowly roll over and squirm, like he's just trying to get comfortable.  But I'm wise to his tricks.  He's just trying to force me off of my pillow.  He'll eventually be practically sideways against my pillow, and I'll only have one tiny corner of it.  But he's so snuggly in the morning.  I don't mind if he takes my pillow.

When Bandit was a puppy he would sleep on my pillow with his head on my shoulder. He will do this now only a couple times a week.  But if we go to bed before DH he is always on his pillow!!  Silly pups!

Kona doesn't take the head area, but is stuck like glue to my belly area.  She sidles up to me and slides her body across mine and plops down like a rock!  When the alarm rings and I go to push snooze, I lose my spot because she has rolled into it ;)  So I lift the covers and slide her over so I can get back in.  She is also a cuddler and smoocher in the morning, I so love it!

OH, I think I see his ears :)  So you are sandwiched in!  That is how my DH usually is as Buddy sleeps on the other side of the bed by him.  Some nights he says he feels like a mummy.

Is Taquito under the covers? I'm trying to make him out. Allie either sleeps up against my back, love that in the winter, or up in between DH and my pillows. In the morning she will actually put her head on top of mine. Not the nicest way to sleep in. They are sooo funny, aren't they?

If we let Darwin on our bed he will step all over us and continually move higher and higher until he's laying on our pillow. Kind of like when he gets on the couch, he will move closer and closer until he's sitting on your lap. He's over 60lbs, so needless to say we don't let him on our bed much.

Yes Yes and YES.  I may have a picture I didn't have the nerve to post yet somewhere around here.  Since you were so brave.. I might add mine here.

Not only my doodle sleeps on my head and/or takes the pillow completely over but my cat   joins in the game.  I like to sleep on my stomach.  My cat will then sit or sleep on my butt.  I sleep really sound.  Thank goodness

If I get up to go to the bathroom towards morning I have to pull the covers back up. Calla  will jump in my spot , head on my pillow. Then she usually doesn't budge until I roll her over and away, which is completely impossible with the covers bunched up beyond her. Still pretty difficult with the covers flat : ) She often pins me in the bed by lying on the covers, partly on my legs. I feel like a prisoner sometimes.
