Every night around 5:00 Lily stands by the front window waiting for her Daddy.  I just love this and so does DH!

This discussion reminds me of a cat I had growing up.  When I was in high school he would ask to be let out onto our screened porch, perch on a table and wait for the school bus to drop me off at the corner.  He would then watch while I went down the driveway and sprint to the back door where I entered the house.  He did this every weekday and seemed to know to take the weekends off, even when I was not there.  The only glitch was when the time changed (day light saving time).  My mom said it would take him the better part of a week to get his timing back down.  He was a smart boy.  He lived to be 22 years old!.

Sure sounds like he was a smart boy.  You can bet he was taken care of to live to the age of 22.  Thank you for sharing this story!

The dogs eat at 7am and 6pm daily. If it gets much later than 6pm, Peri stands right in front of us and barks, then runs to her bowl. She knows it is time to eat!
