Does your doodle twitch when he sleeps?

Was in bed last night with Parker leaning up against my back (daddy is working late so he thought he could spread out on the bed more than usual) and I was trying to nod off to sleep and he kept like twitching. I have seen him do this before, but I could feel it with him leaning up against me...I had to wake him up and move him over so he would stop jerking me back awake. Is that normal??? He doesn't twitch when he's awake during the day, only when he's asleep.

Yes, Gavin twitches, paws, grunts and yelps in his sleep at least three times a day, everyday.  I like to think he is chasing squirrels.  It's normal!

lol good to know Parker isn't a weirdo! He must have some crazy dreams! He does occasionally whine and he definitely snores too but the twitching was worrying me!

If Cubbie is in the middle of a really good nap he will twitch, whimper, or woof.  It is funny to watch and I always just assumed he was dreaming.

Yes, Seda does this alot.  I think they are dreaming.

what a sweetie! BB doesn't sleep belly up, but often on his side. I see his little wrists twitching and bending in his sleep, and once he had a full out "run". Sometimes he wags his tail and I think its a sign he's a happy happy dog. ;]

This is my favorite!! Ember wags her tail in her sleep  too and it cracks me up each and every time.

lol so funny! What happy dreams! I haven't noticed Parker wag his tail in his sleep but usually he is in this position and hes sleeping on top of his tail haha. He's comfortable flashing the world while he sleeps!

Luna twitches and often barks or whines in her sleep.  The barks are especially funny, since she's sleeping her mouth stays closed so it's a muffled "WWPFF"

lol! They are funny! Parker hasn't barked in his sleep yet but has made weird muffled whimpers! His snoring makes me laugh the most tho!

lol yah...DF is in the city for a week working late so Parker is taking over the bed! And even though he has his daddy's whole side to himself, he still squeezes himself on to my side!

Hunter does that to, now she has started to somewhat snore or breath heavy.  She kind of whimpers and will move her feet to like she is running - I always want to get it on video - I wonder what they are dreaming about?

How cute! Amante is in his crate at night. I have noticed him doing funny thing in his sleep I always assumed he was dreaming. Love the doodle!!!
