Was in bed last night with Parker leaning up against my back (daddy is working late so he thought he could spread out on the bed more than usual) and I was trying to nod off to sleep and he kept like twitching. I have seen him do this before, but I could feel it with him leaning up against me...I had to wake him up and move him over so he would stop jerking me back awake. Is that normal??? He doesn't twitch when he's awake during the day, only when he's asleep.

Gracie Doodle does it all the time.  She can be on the floor while I am on the computer and all of a sudden I hear her tail thumping on the floor.  She is obviously having a very happy dream.  She sleeps on our bed and she will twitch, whimper, run and sometimes give a small bark in her sleep.  I just reach out and pat her and tell her it is OK.  Sometimes she is sleeping so hard that I wrap my arms around her because just touching her isn't enough for her to feel.  She is the most laid back secure dog I have ever seen.  No insecurities, fears, dominance, aggressiveness...nothing but a sweet, happy and fun personality.  She plays hard and sleeps hard and is like a wet noodle when sleeping.   I think she is just having the time of her life in her dreams and is going to be always happy awake or sleeping.  Nothing wrong with her at all!!!

Darwin twitches, yelps, growls, etc. in his sleep. It's pretty funny to watch..
