I take my dogs to Unleash the Fun (website name) in Covina ( or West Covina) off I-10. It is run by Dave and Paula Guild. I have taken dog lessons from Dave off and on for ten years. I am very pleased with their care of my beloved Roo and Tigger. Roo has Addison's and I have no qualms leaving him with them.
A friend of mine takes her doodle to Wagville in the San Fernando valley and has been very please with them also.

I've heard good things about Wagsville. Never boarded there but went there for grooming a couple times and the front desk knew all the dogs that came in and everyone was very friendly and knowledgable.
