Doodle Dreams

During the live chat we were doing last night, a few of us were talking about dreams we had about our doodles. I thought it would be fun to start a discussion for all of us to share doodle dreams we've had. 

In my dream, which I had recently, I was chatting to Darwin and turned to me and told me to "shut up"! It was the weirdest thing and now I feel embarrassed around him... LOL. Perhaps I'm talk to him a little too much. 

Does anyone else have weird/funny/scary dreams about their doodles?

I have dreamed about my dogs a number of times, usually they are scary dreams.  But the only one that is still vivid in my mind is from a couple nights ago.

 

I had a nightmare that that Boca climbed the 6-foot fence in our yard (almost like a person would) and as she was trying to climb I was yelling "Boca NO! NO!" she got down but then started again.  And right on the other side of the fence was a neighborhood guy (nobody I recognize but apparently I did in my dream) who just stood there looking dopey as I shouted "Stop her!  Grab her leg!"  He did nothing.

 

SO off she ran and disappeared. A short time later as Clark and I were searching for her I spotted her running.  This found dream Boca looked quite different and she was much bigger, fatter, and had more white on her coat.  She also had blood on her and appeared injured (though she was walking fine) and I was SOO worried and in my dream it was Sunday so no vets were opened and Clark wouldn't let me call the ER vet thinking she'd be fine.  I was sure she was not fine and started bawling my eyes out and there were all these other people at our house who were unconcerned.  It was horrible!

usually when I dream of Darwin, he is slightly different than he is in real life. Darker, curlier, bigger, skinnier... sometimes even cartoon. Weird. I wonder if there is a significance to the non-helpful neighbor in your dream?

Hmmm I have no idea.  He was an adult, and had long reddish hair, sorta hippie looking but I have no idea who he would symbolize...maybe Rosco!!!...LOL.

So my sister, Bryce, already responded to this but I am going to share my dream now. One time I had this creepy dream about Huff. I think we were moving out of our house or maybe it was that the house flooded and we were trying to clean up the house. Somehow, there was a big knife on the floor. Huff picked it up and I turned around and looked at him. He was staring at me with the knife in his mouth but he was not being playful. He was looking at me with evil in his eyes! Scary dood!

I don't dream about Tara much really but I DO dream about all my previous cats and dogs quite often. Sometimes they are an active part of the dream and other times they are just hanging out.

 

After reading through the other posts it looks like "DREAMS" could be a fun Yappy Hour topic!!
