Doodle Dripping Blood

[MEA and Stella]

Stella is now 15 month and spayed. Twice this week she has had diarrhea in the house. (I think she is getting into something outside) now that she figured out the electric fence she is happy as can be checking out the yard and seems to regularly find interesting friends... turtle, frogs, birds.....

So I am not sure what she got into, but this time, there are droplets of blood separate from the diarrhea. So not sure if they are connected. I have seen other droplets of blood stains outside on my drive, and wondered where they came from.

Also her #1 potty area seems to always a dark stained color. And dark... not yellowish. not sure if that is nomal,

I've read that sometimes the vet may have missed an ovary during the spay surgery... but she is acting fine otherwise. Any ideas???

If it is vaginal blood due to any portion of a retained ovary, you can use a Q-tip and swab the inside of the vulva area and you might be able to see some blood on the Q tip--I have an unspayed female breeding dog and that is how we catch any early signs of heat.
