Doodle Friendly Rugs?

I have all hardwood floors in my apartment. They'll be great for housebreaking but I want to get rugs so it's warmer and also for some traction if I were to play fetch with my guy. 

I cannot decide on a type or style and can't seem to find any with nice patterns I like. I'm going crazy looking & searching for rugs but can't find any I like enough to buy. 

At this point, I'm thinking of getting a jute or sisal rug--but I'm unsure if my pup would rip it up, since its not a solid rug like a heavy pile wool. 

Any help/advice is appreciated!

We use Bona hardwood floor spot cleaner.

It's for pet messes and soils.

Ive had no problems with it.. Got it at bed bath and beyond

 The indoor/outdoor rugs work well for me, some of them can even be bleached.  Also I buy cheap rugs for two reasons, dogs and I like to get something new occasionally.  Most of my rugs I have bought on the internet.
