Happy Sunday Doodlers,

Yup, I'm still around. Wiggle Worm is far too comfy and I don't blame her for wanting to bake a little longer...it's getting cold and today is SUPER windy! I'd want to stay inside too =)

But on with Doodle Kisses updates and News!

MAKE YOUR DOODLE A FRONT PAGE STAR...
Every Thursday we typically change our front page slide show to a new theme. The next Thursday Theme will be "Doodles & Babies" -- to find out how to get YOUR photo of your doodle with a baby into our front page slide show, visit this link: http://www.doodlekisses.com/forum/topics/how-to-get-your-doodle-on-the -- HOWEVER, this slide show will be postponed for another 1-3 weeks until I am able to add a photo myself. So in the meantime, we're gonna be recycling old slide shows on Thursdays =) In the meantime feel free to start fun photo threads in the discussion forum on various doodle themes.

2010 DOODLE CALENDARS ARE STILL AVAILABLE!
We made some fabulous Doodle Calendars for 2010 -- if you haven't seen them or bought your own yet...do check them out here: http://www.doodlekisses.com/notes/Doodle_Kisses_Store -- there are 3 varieties, each full of adorable doodles. PLUS--25% of our proceeds will be donated to doodle and dog rescue so it's worth buying some for friends and family, groomers and vets!

CHANGES TO OUR SITE
We've made some minor navigation enhancements to DK. Now if you hover your mouse over some of the tabs (at the top of any page) such as "Forum" you'll see new options that are a click away. For example, you now can click on "Latest Posts" to see the discussion topics most recently being discussed--instead of only categories. Take that mouse and hover over the various tabs to see what's available!

If you haven't been getting the Sunday updates from doodlekisses in your normal email inbox, be sure to add the following addresses to your e-mail address book so that fun news and updates don't end up in your spam folder:

Also click on "settings" (toward the top of the right column of any page here on DK) and then click email on the settings page. From the email settings page you can adjust what notifications you receive including the all-important-do-not-miss emails to all members :-)

Thanks Michele. I am feeling well...my impatience is ever so slowly being replaced with giving in to the idea that I have NO control over this and she'll come in her own time. Although today is so ugly and WINDY it seems it would be a great time to be going through pain in a hospital until the weather clears.

Well you did a great job of promoting the slide show topic yourself and got over 20 photos from members submitted...so I thought it was time to make it official! Plus I didn't want to commit to anything else for the next couple weeks.

Yes Adina, pregnancy and babies have an innate way of teaching us the lessons in life we most need to learn. The next lesson will be how to love someone so completely, like you never imagined.

Enjoy the last few days knowing you will never have these precious days back, with your little girl being so close to you that you can feel her every movement. There will be days you will wish you could put her BACK there!!!!! So glad you are feeling good, and no worries about the pain.....it is do-able and purposeful, like we talked about before.
Enjoy every moment! This is why we have the privilege of being women!

Hey Adina (and wiggle worm!)
SO, just a comment on the changes. At the bottom of discussions, we can now only click on next/previous/first/last. There isn't a list of pages. This seems to take up more time than just being able to click on a page number when searching back through long discussions. I know there's the search function, but I'm just commenting. I like the new latests posts tabs!

Yeah that wasn't a change WE made--and I agree it sucks. It was a system change...and it will be remedied in the near future...I believe =)

Adina, I can give you a tip on how to get wiggle worm to hurry up. My mother had 9 kids and she swore that this worked for her. You wash the floor on hands and knees and labour will follow soon. Of course if you do this, I will not win the guess of the birth date but your happiness is more important.

I've been meaning to actually!!! But the weather has been so iffy that I didn't want to do it for fear I'd wash the floors and then it would be muddy in one hour...LOL. Maybe I'll do that in the morning..or tonite! It's the ONLY way I wash floors =)
