Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
We will be picking up our newest goldendoodle in four weeks. It is a chocolate and black litter but we haven't been matched yet to a particular pup. We know that it will be a male.
Our nearly 2 year old goldendoodle is Beowoof-woof Shaggypants, (Beowoof or Woofie for short). We've been trying to find a cute name for #2. Here are some we are thinking about:
Schmutz Mochadoodle
Schmutz Javadoodle
Mozzy Mochadoodle
Mozzy Javadoodle
What do you think? Any suggestions? :)

Love this, Winnie!
That is funny, I do that with my family. There is grammy goo, papa poo, mommy moo, caden coo etc. The family thinks its weird, but they join in on occasion.
Ever since we have had Winnie I refer to my husband as Papadoodle or Papadoo for short. And, I am Muzzydoo since "Muzzy" is a term of endearment that we say instead of Mommy. Sick, I know! :-)
One of my best friends from college called her mother "Muzzy" - not sick or weird at all!
That's cute, Lori! <3
Jessica, we did work it out with our breeder. She went back to using the waiting list in order. We get to choose in two weeks and I'm so excited!
Naming our dogs is a complicated but fun thing. They each end up with a slew of nicknames, too. Magnus is Boo Boo, Captain Boo Boo, Maggie, Mags, etc. Oonaugh is Bunny, Bun Bun, Buns, Bunner. Talulla is Bug, Bugs, Buggy, Doodlebug, Doody. Beowoof is Woof, Woofie, Big Boy, Pookie, Pook. Tavish is Biscuit, Bisky, Brick, Tavvy, Tavinator, etc. :-)
How about another character from the poem? Grendel?
We thought about Grendel but that is not the nicest character in the world. :-) It's too bad because it's a nice name.
We always laugh about naming our doodle Beowoof because he is the biggest chicken. LOL!
Hrothgar
What about Wiglaf, another character in Beowulf? You could call him Wiggy for short. How cute is that?!
Wiggy is pretty cute! :-)
