Doodle Sitter in Massachusetts =)

Hi!!  My name is Jenn and I am looking to try and find a sitter for our Pyredoodle Cannon for a week in July this year...I know it is short notice but I wanted to put this out to anyone who might be in the area and be interested....I live in Carver, MA which is next to Plymouth, MA and about 40 miles south of Boston.  I would also like to put it out there that I am available to pet sit for others as well if they need someone!!  We have a big yard but I do have to say, it is only partially fenced in...For Cannon, we bought a remote collar fence system but it is a portable system....no wires to bury so it can go with us when we travel and also to you if you were able to watch him!!  In our yard, he stays so we dont even put the collar on him anymore so if you felt comfortable with using it, your dog could wear it here to go out in the yard and otherwise, we live in a small quiet area so we can walk him or her a few times a day as well....I have 2 children ages 3 and 9 so Cannon is very used to children and he has numerous animal buddies here in the neighborhood too that he plays with so he loves other animals as well.....he is very well behaved and knows all his commands....he is the best dog I have ever owned to be honest!!  But thank you for considering us and also if you would be able to help us out!!  =)  Jenn

Would that be a mixture of a Great Pyrenees and poodle?? I grew up with Great Pyrenees dogs. My husband lives in Mass as he's going to school... And if he didn't rent a room from someone I know he'd do it. Sorry we don't have anything to offer but good luck!

Yes =) his mom was 1/2 great pyre and 1/2 poodle and his dad 100% poodle.....He is about 70lbs of huge love!  Im in Carver, MA about 20 miles south of Boston.....what is your husband doing for school?  Is he in the city?

Wow! What an interesting mix! I'm living in Virginia now but actually grew up in MA...born in Cambridge and grew up in Gloucester. We are living apart for two years as he goes to Physician Assistant school, since my job is in VA. He had a few choices on campus locations but he chose Worcester bc of cost of living. He is at Massachusetts School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.

Wow--he is a cutie PIE!

My breeder boards sometimes, but has a lot of pups right now--but you would also need to drive a LOONG way to get to her in Otis, MA. Hope you find someone! Maybe ask the breeders in your area for ideas--isn't Ocean State out your way? They may know of someone or could ask customers. She is north of Providence RI.

Nice!, Next year, every five weeks he will train at a new hospital in New England. Maybe he will meet and work with you!

And he worked in the ER as a tech before going to school... And he wants to go back to work in the ER as a PA.
