Do you have kids? I give all of my customers a copy of "Living with Kids and Dogs ..... Without Losing Your Mind" (on Amazon). It jumps around a little bit and I don't agree with 100% of what it says, but it has some really GREAT info on managing the interactions between the two. Lot's of good training tidbits. One of the things that I really like (as a breeder) is that it talks about your responsibility to the dog and how to 'train' your children too. Most books don't discuss that aspect.
I have enjoyed "The Dog Listener" by Jan Fennell, "The Culture Clash" by Jean Donaldson and "Control Unleashed" by Leslie McDevitt. I think they each have something positive to offer.
we stopped with "training" and instead opted for the Satz Method ( safe alternative teaching zone) by PK Shader. Basically a way of life, learning to understand Lincoln better. This has helped him the best by far! Wish i would have saved my money on the two bad trainers we had at first.

Thank you all for your replies. Adina - the videos were very helpful. I am looking into the books now, and have joined the group that Michele recommended. Thank you!
