Doods and TV

All this talk about the Puppy Bowl and our doods watching....I love all the posts and pictures. But I was wondering...Daisy Never Notices TV no matter what is on, does everyone's doodle actually watch, should I be worried?

Maybe she prefers reading? LOL

Yah I have had dogs that wouldn't notice the tv, barking doggies on it or not, and then others that get really into it and even try to sniff the picture to see if they can smell the dog (or whatever else is on there making noise) lol.

Both of mine will stop and pay attention to the TV if they hear a dog bark or make noise, but it's not for very long.

[Nancie & Gracie Doodle]

Gracie Doodle never watches TV.  But, it a doorbell should ring on TV or a lot of dog barking she will jump up and bark and run to the front door!

We have two doodles.  One watches TV, the other does not.  Max will watch for quite a while.  He will bark at any dog that comes on the screen and then go into the room that is behind the wall where the TV is to look for the dog in the TV.  We have a cat that also sits and watches TV.

Camus only looks at the TV when he hears an animal, does the same when he hears animals, especially sounds of animals in distress, on a video I am watching on the computer.  However, he is fascinated with the full length mirror!

My girls couldn't care less until an animal comes on- then they are all about it. I'm a little embarrassed to admit that I occasionally turn on animal planet for them to watch when we leave for a little bit. Oh well, anything for my girls :)

I think it is too! So what's with the people who look at me like I'm crazy for doing it?! ;)

Both my doodles watch TV, when Animal Planet is on and something catches their eye, you can see both their heads move in the same direction its so cute.  They will also watch when I play a game on Wii, Sasha more so than Oliver with the Wii.  Its so cute :)

[Lucy & AnnaBelle's Mom]

Our Lucy loves TV.  She lays with her chin on the arm of the sofa and just stares at it.  In the bedroom when she comes in for snuggle time before they go to their beds, she lays at the foot of the bed with her chin on the foot board.  Every once in a while she just jump up when a dog comes on, but not always.  She doesn't care what is on, she will watch.  Sophie doesn't care at all.  But if Lucy jumps at something, Sophie of course has to jump in as well.
