It looks like there are quite a few of us who have just felt and earthquake.  It's a first for me.  DH and I were sitting here, each on our own computers.  We first heard something strange, and then he went to look for the dogs...thought they were into something.  Then he asked me "what's that shaking"?  The whole house was shaking!  It actually lasted for about 30 seconds.  I said I thought it was either an EQ or we were both losing our minds.  We got the Doods and ran downstairs....just in case.  They seemed to sense that there was something wrong.  Anyway, it was over quickly.  It sounds like this was up and down the East Coast.  Who else felt this....and how did your Doodles react?  Hopefully those closer to the epicenter are all fine.

I am 60 miles north west of Detroit and did not feel it.  Hope all is well for the ones in the middle.  We had a bad tornado north of us on Sunday that wiped out the centre of a beautiful historic lakeside town.  One person died and three dozen injured.  Lots unhappy weather events this week.
My friend is in Dundas (near Hamilton) and he felt it!!
The doodles and I were oblivious in northern NJ. Wow. I,m glad everyone is OK.
Jane, I am going to use this to my advantage and tell my DH I was too scared (wink, wink) to cook dinner and now we have to go out :)
That's perfect, Laurie!
Maybe I have feigned incompetence too?
Please don't take any chances Laurie.....trying to cook with trembling hands can be very dangerous!!!!
Thanks for your support, Carol. There could be aftershocks :)
DH was at home with Monty. They were out on the deck, DH said the entire house was shaking and Monty was very upset.  I work in Harrisburg PA in an 8th floor bldg, I knew I had not imagined it when I could see the ceiling lights swaying back and forth. My daughter lives in Boston, working on the 13th floor, she called to say she grabbed her things and left the bldg as fast as she could.  lol
We felt it in NJ!  Hubby and I were in a diner and thought a train was literally going right over us!! The doodles were home alone, but when we came home, they were clearly upset.  Ears back and not excited to see us.  I've heard that dogs can "sense" them before they actually occur?  What a crazy day!! Hope everyone else is okay!
We felt it all the way here in London, Ontario!!! Of course it wasn't very strong, but a picture did fall off my wall, and THAT'S what freaked Lola out, not the actual quake!!!!!! :)
That's crazy Sue, I am in Sarnia and did not feel a thing.  Pretty strong for a picture to fall off the wall!
