Cooper  just turned 2 and has beeen refusing morning feeding. Still interested in afternoon treats and dinner.

Is homefed and loves to eat. have others found similar behavior in their labradoodles?

Kirby doesn't like to eat in the morning either.  Since Dexter is still recovering from his knee surgery and is crated, we've been free feeding Kirby and he does really well with this.  He likes to eat at weird times (i.e. 10 pm).  We figure as long as he eats at some point, it's ok :)  Have you tried free feeding Cooper?
Sedona (almost 2) will go through stages where she'll not eat a morning meal for a few days, maybe even a week. Then she'll eat morning and night again for awhile. She's never been much of a scheduled eater. She clearly has a mind of her own and eats when she wants to and doesn't eat when she doesn't feel like it. She's healthy, fit, and happy so I guess it's working for her.
Penny has never been a scheduled eater, especially in the morning.  Most time, she only wants to eat once per day, and on her schedule.  She's been happy and healthy for six years, so all is well.  Sounds like cute little Cooper is one of those free-willed doods!
Yep.  Sure have.  Two doodles here, two eating styles and those are subject to change all the time.

We have just been commenting in our house how Maddie seems to be leaving her breakfast meal for most of the day before she eats it. I'm thinking she is changing her eating habits like she did when she went from 3 meals to 2 per day. She seems perfectly healthy and full of p & v so I know she is feeling fine.

I am not concerned because eventually she does end up eating about 1 1/2 cups of her adult kibble and she does drink all her water.

Quincy will not eat until dinner time, I was concerned about him eating too much food at one time, but he has been doing this for the last year or more. He sometimes doesn't eat it all, but will go back and finish later in the evening.
I can't imagine them eating once a day...they act they are starving everyday all day long!

I usually offer food 2x daily for my Sunny, but she isn't interested in the morning. She eats a ton at night, though, which is an improvement from when she used to refuse almost all food. She's a tad picky, but I've figured out what she likes and what she doesn't, and worked in all her nutritional needs.

Sunny likes to eat at about 9pm, and we go to bed at midnight. She goes out for her last pee/poo at about 11pm, just so I feel good letting her sleep in my bed that night! Ha.

I do make her eat a little bit in the morning on days that we go to the dog park or training, though. If she doesn't eat and she plays on an empty stomach, she throws up yellow stomach acid, which I'm sure isn't comfortable!
