Good afternoon!

On Friday evening Oliver started having diarrhea. As that was his only symptom, I gave him some rice and salmon to settle his stomach hoping it was just an acute bout. However, it's now Sunday and it's still the same. As my vet isn't open on Sundays, I'm planning on taking him in tomorrow to get a stool sample.

About six months ago a similar issue happened and we were prescribed Endosorb, since his stool sample was clear and they assumed it to be a case of a curious puppy with an upset stomach. I have some Endosorb tablets left, does anyone know if it would be ok to give them to him to calm his stomach before we can get him to the vet for his stool sample tomorrow? Or is there something better? I could also go to an emergency vet but since Oliver is eating, drinking, and playing like usual I would rather that he sees his regular vet.

Thank you in advance!

I would bring him in tomorrow and not give him any medication beforehand.

I agree. Some canned pure pumpkin with his food might help, but no meds.

Thank you for your quick responses! Well add some pumpkin to dinner. I was just hoping to give him something so that he (and we) would sleep through the night without bathroom breaks! :) I'm thinking he might of come down with something on Thursday when he was playing in the lake, which is a shame since he was having so much fun splashing around!
