Experiences with Rover.com

Hi all!

So I am planning a vacation and my usual doggie sitter network (my best friend and brother) will be vacationing with me. So I checked out rover.com and I have never used the site before but a friend recommended their dog walker that they use through rover as he does over night pet sitting as well. He seems great. I'm just curious if anyone has experience booking over night stays through this site. Some sites have horrible customer service and I was wondering if anyone can speak to the sites credibility I guess.

I have not finalized any trip details yet but wanted to make sure I have something lined up for the boys. Rover says everything is covered with their premium insurance which I'm not really sure what that is but it sounds good!

I will be interested in this as well. We have a big family weekend at a resort coming up in a few weeks. The resort doesn't allow dogs. Part of it would be 5 hour ferry ride and I wouldn't want Annabelle to get sea sick anyway.

I've looked into rover before. I ultimately chickened out as our regular sitter was available anyway. Would love to hear others experiences too!

Hi Jessica! I found Cooper's dogsitter through Rover.com. I'm so thankful for him because now I don't really have to worry about leaving him. I know he'll be in good hands. We've used the dogsitter a few times already. It was very easy to use as far as setting up a meeting. We did a meet and greet. Was happy with him and booked him pretty much right away once we got home. All our conversations went directly to the dogsitter and he had always replied promptly. I believe I did call the 1-800 number once and I was able to talk to a rep without any issue. I've never had to use the insurance they offer so I can't comment on that. Just wanted to tell you that we found our dogsitter through Rover.com :)

We used Rover.com about a month ago. It turned out to be a very good experience. Both the online
portion as well as the lady who watched our two. I researched the options on Rover for the area we needed,
and picked the
person who had the most recommendations. Pet insurance is included ( we didn't need since we have our own).
I received many pictures during the day of our doods. I'm sure you can arrange to do an initial meet before.
