F1 doodle grooming?

Hi,

We have a blonde F1 doodle and were wondering if we cut him back for the summer will he lose his curls?

Nope!! But it does depend on how old he is --as doodles go thru coat changes as they mature and the curliness can change...My cream colored doodle keeps getting curlier and she is almost 5!

If your doodle's adult coat is curly, it will grow back curly after cutting.

We shave Daisy in the summer :)
It's so much easier to bath her if she gets muddy or goes for a swim. It's velvety soft too.

Cutting hair does nothing to change it.  Same as peoplel

Kara, the curls will grow back.  My pup was recently groomed and after a few days he began curling up again!
