F1 Goldendoodle Puppy

Hello Doodle Owners!

We're picking up our new golden doodle puppy this weekend. Very exciting! I understand that since he is an F1 he has a wider range for variability in coat and shedding. If he does end up shedding, I just hope it's less than a golden.

Here's a picture of our little boy puppy and a picture of his adult sister (same parents) from a previous litter. I'm hoping he'll end up looking like his sister - wavy, muppet-like, and low shedding! What do you think?

I just checked out AnnaBelle's pictures and progression. She's beautiful. I hope our little guy turns out like her. She's exactly the look we want. But whatever the coat is, I'm sure he'll be irresistible!

So our kids FINALLY made a decision on his name.....Lloyd. It's growing on me!

Lloyd- I love the name :-)  Sounds smart, sweet and a little goofy- everything that Goldendoodles are!

Yes, that little bit of curl in his ears tells me that he will probably be wavy.

Very cute--and great name! The curls on his ears are a very good sign of a wavier coat, but his face looks "open"--that is more like a golden face with less hair--it is easier to keep clean and unmatted that way!
