Ginger is almost 8 months old.  She was sick with diarrhea a couple of weeks ago.  She was given medication and has been all well and good since...EXEPT....she hasn't been eating as well as usual at dinner time.  At first I thought maybe her stomach still wasn't settled, but now I'm beginning to think she's just not hungry because she still eats well in the morning.  How 'bout you?  She's going to be a big girl.  She's already over 40 lbs so I just assumed she still needed two meals a day.

Any thoughts?

I feed 2x per day, but I have a piggy on my hands :)  Peri is a grumpster if she doesn't eat within 30 minutes of waking up and within 30 minutes of us returning from work in the evening.

We didn't switch , Quincy just stopped eating during the day as much as we tried to get him too. He now eats at dinner time with a little saved for a bedtime snack. I would much rather he eat twice a day.

Good feedback, thanks.  I guess I should go to the food group to ask the next question but maybe I'll throw it down here too.  What do you think about making a little homemade supplement of turkey, veggies, etc... and mixing a couple of Tbs in with their food? Maybe If their portions are smaller and tastier they will eat better.

My two are both 2 and still get two meals a day.  I just split the amount and give half in the morning and half in the afternoon.  Don't really know why I do this, but it works for us!
Connor is 3.5 yrs (72 lbs), Simon is 19 months (51 lbs)  and Skylar the collie (65 lbs) is almost 9 yrs. I've always fed 2x/day. My boys get Taste of the Wild Pacific Stream with 1 tbs of pumpkin puree and just a little warm water.  Sometimes if breakfast is late, at least one of them will throw up bile because of an empty stomach.
