This afternoon we took Rosie to her first Halloween parade/contest at our local Petsmart. Gaston-Cramer was very grateful to be able to stay home after he saw her getting dressed! Rosie didn't look too pleased either....(yes that's mascara on her lashes! LOL)Once we started adding the piece of her costume onto her she started getting into the spirit!Honestly, I was a bit concerned I hadn't made the wisest judgement emptying half a can of halloween pink hair dye onto her head but at this point it was too late! LOL Off we went to Petsmart! She was the center of attention and as you can see from her smile she was eating it up! At 85 pounds that's a LOT of tutu! What a wiggle she had! LOLHer pink hair was slowly fading from all the lovin' she was getting from people petting her! (whew!)Rosie came in 4th place in the costume competion but my son and I couldn't have been prouder of her! (two chinese crested dogs dressed as Thing 1 and Thing 2 won and rightfully so!....Elvis and a leprechon came in 2nd and 3rd but we won't go there! LOL)And as you can see, by afternoon's end, Rosie's locks were fading as was she! Our "fairydoodle" was done for the day........good thing we have another half a can of pink hair dye for next weekend! Bwwwwwhhhhhaaaaaaa.....................Thanks for letting us share :)

Adorable costume! She looks like she was having fun!
Rose, you look AMAZING! Your mommy did a fabulous job with your costume! You even smiled for the camera, way to go!
Thanks everyone :). It truly was the easiest costume in the world and super inexpensive. It's just a little girls tutu from Wally World for under $5...the same with the children's wings (which she just slipped her arms through)....the polka dot scrunchy collar cover I made for her and then just the $2 can of pink hair dye. I honestly think she liked it! LOL Once we got past the initial spray of pink and the mascara she was workin' the tutu! Not much phases Rosie....she just goes with the flow. She is smiling though.....but as you can see from the first picture, if' she's not happy she'll show it! LOL I'm fairly confident she enjoyed every minute of it once she was all decked out! And needless to say the attention she got with every step didn't hurt her disposition a bit ;)
There's still a hint of pink in her hair this morning and frankly it looks adorable on her! LOL I think one good bath and it'll be out for good.
