Famous Doodle Families

So I was welcoming one of our newest members and read that she got her doodle because "I met Candace Bergen's doodle in Central Park and fell in love with him." Which made me wonder....are there very many other famous people with Doodles....if so, who? Share if you know of any.....just for fun and curiosity!

How come most of them have labradoodles and not goldendoodles?

I think it's because labradoodles are what people hear of first.....I think goldendoodles are a little bit "newer" which sounds dumb even as I type it.....but I know that when I first learned about doodle, it was labradoodles and after looking into it more then I found goldendoodles. I really really wanted a goldendoodle....but Shiloh came along and was too good a deal to pass up....so I decided that my next one will be a goldendoodle....but the Fenway came along from the rescue....and I suppose I can tell myself that he is any kind of doodle that I want him to be, lol.....but he looks like a labradoodle....the groomer even said that today. It would be a hard fight to get the rest of the family to agree to #3 so that I can have a goldendoodle...lol....so I guess I am a labradoodle owner!

Funny, I wanted a labradoodle, and got a goldendoodle....I am not the least bit sorry, I am in heaven, I love him, and I guess DH, was so excited that he was finallt getting me something I have wanted for a long time. he just heard doodle, lol, and so we have a goldendoodle...And we do have an Austraikiuan Shepherd too, so a third is not even a possibility, lol

but seriously, if the LD doesn't look like a Lab I can't figure out if they are a LD or GD. Anyone know if there was a discussion about the differences?

I agree with you Adrianne. If it is not posted what the dog is ( i.e. Labradoodle or Goldendoodle or Aussiedoodle, ect.) I actually have the go to the owners page to see what they wrote under "What type of Doodle do you have?). My guess has been wrong many times. Actually MOST times.
