Favorite Holiday Movie?

It's the time of year I love!  ABC Family's 25 Days of Christmas started two days ago!!  I just love watching all the Christmas movies... they really get me in the Holiday spirit!

Also, since "A Christmas Story" is playing on my campus movie channel, it got me thinking... do you have any favorite holiday movies or special shows?

I don't know if it's my absolute favorite, but one of my favorites would have to be "A Charlie Brown Christmas."  It's so sweet.

The old one was made in 1947, I'm talking about the one made in 1994, with Elizabeth Perkins. It's really good!

New version??? Oh wait, I do remember it now. Think it came out a few years ago when my son was young. But can't be the same without Natalie Wood. I wanted to BE her! LOL

"It's A Wonderful Life"! Oldie but a Goodie!

Kinda strange, but I always watch for the television show "A Christmas Memory" made from a true memory of Truman Capote. He's a strange little man, but I loved his memory of his Christmas from long ago. Sometimes I just check out a book of Christmas stories that has this one in it. If the movie isn't on, I just read the story again.

There is an old movie called "One Magic Christmas" that I remember watching growing up. I love it! Hallmark Channel usually plays it. I also love Holiday Inn so much! Polar Express is also on tonight on ABC Family...brings you back to childhood!!

Call me crazy, but I can watch the older Scrooge (A Christmas Carol) movies every year. My favorite is the 1951 version with Alastair Sim. Also like the 1984 one with George C. Scott.

Oh I like the Scrooge movies too! My favorite is a little newer one "Scrooge" with Patrick Stewart playing the Scrooge role.

That one is good also. How about the musical with Albert Finney from the 70's.

I'm not sure I've seen that one!! I'm making a list of Christmas movies that I would like to see. Is it a good one? I'll add it!!

I do really like the George C. Scott one though. I DO remember that one. He's a good Scrooge!!
