Has anyone's doodle had to have FHO surgery? My Goldendoodle Dazi is almost 7 months old and has been having trouble. I took her to the vet and the Dr did xrays and she has severe hip dyplasia. She is having FHO surgery on the right hip wednesday. The surgeon says this is the best thing for her instead of a full hip replacement. She is in a lot of pain and I hope this is going to help her. She will have the left side done after she has healed up from the right side. I sick with worry and wondering if anyone else has gone through this and how is the recovery for them. I hate this for my baby. I cant stand to see her in pain.

This is great news. Wishing Dazi a speedy recovery!

Great news!
What wonderful news for you both.

I'm so glad to hear this good news, thanks for updating us. Run pain free, Dazi!

Here is a picture of Dazi after her second surgery.   She is doing very good now.

She is so cute!

I am glad to hear the good news.

So happy to read this good news about Dazi!  The picture of her is precious:)  Hugs to you and Dazi!

Dazi is doing okay,  we are working hard on getting her legs stronger so she can run and play and be pain free.  She has good and bad days.  Its a very long hard road.    She has another check-up with the surgeon on Halloween.   She is still having to be on pain pills and seems like the cold weather is affecting her some but she keeps on working hard to get better every day.

Keep at it, Dazi!  I hope you're pain-free soon!  I just want to kiss that sweet face.
