Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
Hi - I am currently looking for a golden doodle puppy and would like some advice. Does anyone have any recommendations for a good breeder in Arizona? I have already weeded out a few that have gotten bad reviews online. (People had picked up their puppies and they were sick). Any advice would be a great help!

Hi Robin, breeder recommendations are not permitted here in the open discussions. People can send you a private message if you accept a friend request from them.
If you haven't read our guidelines on What To Look for in a Breeder, please do and take them to heart. You can use this as a checklist of the minimum standards you should require. If anyone doesn't measure up, walk away:

Hi Robin, I live in Chandler and just PM'd you with a recommendation. Please read the mentioned guidelines Karen suggested. That is actually how I found my breeder and several others on this site have her pups too. She is now breeding mini and med 4th generation doodles. I have two of her F1 Goldendoodles and they are the picture of heath and sweetness. They are 7 and 5 years old now. If you contact her, tell her I sent you and she owes us a visit, so she will fly out with a pup and can come stay with us!!! Good Luck in your search. I don't know of any breeders locally so sorry I can't help you there. I've never had any reason to look into it as I know I will always have one of this breeders dogs no matter where I live.
I'd like to add that what's significant about Sue's recommendation is that her dogs are healthy at 5 and 7 years old. That means a lot more than a recommendation from someone whose 3 or 6 or 10 month old puppy is healthy. Many if not most serious health issues in dogs do not show up until a dog is past 2 or 3 years old.
