First haircut and I'm so mad!!

We decided to use our mobile groomer who we used for our other dog a Maltese years ago. I left the house to run errand and I gave my husband strict instructions to not shave, not short , just a little bit off I want her to still look like a doodle. I come home and she is shaved from head to toe!! Looks nothing like my cute doodle pup I had 2 hrs ago. I called and left a message to the groomer. I know it grows back but really?!?

Lily May does look like a Maltese now.  Maybe the groom was channeling your other dog ;-)  A photo is a good idea. 

I do my own grooming but in the spring I take my doodle in to get a good even short cut then I'm able to keep it up during the summer. 

My tactic for finding a groomer is the take my doodle in and let them explain what they want to do.  Let them touch him and feel (mine doesn't get mats) so they can't come back and say he was matted later.  I think it comes out how experienced they are with doodle grooming.  There is nothing wrong with interviewing several groomers!
