Five doodles in the house--yikes!

Well, I am not sure I would recommend this to anyone, but I agreed to dogsit Rafi, who is one of Lyric's pups (I have Rafi's brother, Rio) and then was asked to dogsit Rafi and Rio's dad, Remi for a few days. Add to that group my third doodle, Mattie, and that means there are FIVE doodles in the house. Luckily, they are all well behaved and well trained--and they get along really well. Thank goodness they are doodles! There has been a lot of romping in the backyard and playing with toys, chewing on bones, etc. It can be a little difficult to get through the room when I first come in--everyone needs to greet me and get a little pat on the head--it takes quite a while!

Here they all are waiting politely for a cookie--Mattie is the red one, and the black and white ones are Rio and his dad, Remi. Lyric, the mom, is third from the left and Rafi, her look-a-like is on the left. Rafi is small like his dad, but has mom's coloring. Rio is taller like mom, but has his dad's coloring--it is fun to see them all together.

Good news is they are on the small side.  Can you imagine if you had 5 80 pounders?  That is such a cute picture...tell Lyric and Mattie to smile next time!

Ha! When I have cookies in my hand, it is a very serious manner--especially when they have to compete with those three other guys who just won't leave! I took three pictures and they were seriously focused on the cookies for all of them!

Yes, I am glad the biggest (Lyric) is only 46 pounds--but gaining! She is expected to have the next litter on October 1.

Just want to add, we right now have three 65 pounders for the week, puppysitting our grandpup and I must say we

are having a wonderful time.  They are so good together it is a pleasure!
