Well, My little Rue Rue has pink eye!!! How do dogs even get that?!

I took her to the vet yesterday and we got some antibiotics to put in her eye. It looks 10X better this am than it did yesterday morning.

I also had the vet check her incision from her spay last Thursday. I noticed a slight bulge directly under the incision. The vet said it's fluid build up from her being active. He said he does not want to drain it for fear that sticking a needle in it would cause an infection. He said it would go away on it's own within a month and we hope that we can get the stitches taken out March 1. If the fluid build up has not gone away, the stitches will stay in longer :(

Has anyone else had experience with this type of thing?

Ro confused me, too. Yes I was asking about fluid build up under the incision. I swear it's getting bigger, but DH say's it's not. I'm not sure if he's trying to save an ulcer or if it truly is going down somewhat.

I'm getting the two maladys confused! :p

She has been very good about not licking it, knock on wood! I am glad it's nothing to be too concerned about. I am a worry wart, ever since my last poodle was insulin dependent with diabetes, cushings, and cataracts! lol

It would be normal to be a little overly cautious with all you've been through with your poodle, but all I can say is just keep being a good doodle mommy and enjoy the heck out of her!

We do enjoy the heck out of her, especially at 5 am when she jumps on the bed and decides it's time to get up and play and showers us with Doodle Kisses til we awake from our slumber.
