If you figure out how to get her to stop eating her poop please share the magic with me.  We've tried everything, Coprophagia Deterrent, For-bid, fresh pineapples, applesauce... you name it, we've probably tried it and Goldie just thinks it's seasoning :(

Be happy to share IF I ever cure her. As crazy as she is, she is very sensitive to my being mad at her, so I will try that again. We were out front again today and she went toward the poopy spot she rolled in and I just said "Bella" and she stopped immediately in her tracks and left it alone. I think the cold shower with the hose and my going on and on about how disgusting that was may have made some impression, I hope.

some advice offered is pineapple, spinach, pickles and garlic in their food supposedly makes poop taste bitter.

We've tried all of those but the garlic. I suppose we could give that a try but at this rate she'd probably love it haha. Even "leave it" doesn't work. That command will work with anything BUT her own poop.  I have considered going to a last resort... a shock collar that has a vibration feature. I don't feel comfortable using the shock method but I'm wondering if the light vibration option would startle her enough to start to have a negative association with the poop eating.

Be careful with garlic. It's in the same family as onions, which are toxic to dogs. I know it is sometimes included in the ingredients of treats, but I would not give garlic to any dog.

I was wondering about that, myself. I remember seeing it on a list of no-no's. I don't think I'm willing to risk it. It probably wouldn't have worked anyway. Haha

Ha, they would probably both like the taste more! Have you tried the HOT HOT sauce on the poop? I've used jalapeño pepper strength hot sauce. Maybe I should just get some jalapeños and chop them up and sprinkle them on the poop. It really burns my mouth tho so haven't wanted to hurt her. But people eat them so it can't cause any harm....hum???
