any young mini goldendoodles or goldendoodle need a home?

go to doodlerescue.org and read their adoption requirements.  If you meet their requirements then fill out an application.  I think they just took in a little guy in the PA area.  Not sure on the details.  But, if you meet their requirements the best way to get a doodle is to have an application on file with them because they always check for approved applications before they post to their website.

As you can see, the adoption policies are fairly strict, and require previous dog ownership as an adult with vet records in your own name. Children must be at least 10 years old, and if they have not lived with a dog before, the minimum age is 16. If there are family members under the age of 16, you must have a physically fenced yard. 

Most private rescues have similar policies. 

The requirements for fosters are basically the same.

"Fosters" are typically volunteers who are willing to temporarily house, train, and care for a dog until they are adopted into their forever home. They also evaluate the dog in terms of what type of home would be best for that individual dog, and work with the adoption coordinator to place the dog in the best possible situation. It can be very bittersweet, but also very rewarding. Since you've indicated that you are looking for a "forever" dog, fostering is probably not what you're really looking to do.

Hi Karen question for you. If an applicant does not have any children, do you need a fence then? I have previously looked into fostering and I assumed all foster homes needed a physical fence regardless of kids, so since that's not my situation I had let the idea go. Just curious :)

Fences are not required if there are no kids. Of course, everything else being equal, they are preferred, and occasionally we have a dog that we feel really does need a fenced yard for various reasons, but it is not required for adult homes.
