I have become so frustrated with DK that I may have to boycott. I have reported multiple times about getting "We're sorry" messages. I use the latest version of Firefox. I wait patiently for the bar on top on a reply box to come up. It takes time! And then I type my response and get the dreaded message. Sometimes I do this multiple times--see taskbar About Q&A's where was attempting to respond to something. And below it the Question I was attempting to ask of Linda in a post today. Five times is my limit! sometimes I post somewhere else to see if I can just get what I want said in the discussion somewhere.
I often type long posts like a discussion on Word first so as not to lose it.
I am not having any trouble with other sites. We never get any feedback on when and if tech support is doing anything but for sure this issue only gets worse for me. This problem is so pervasive now and has been going on so long I could scream, but instead I will take the dogs for a walk. Life is too short.

Possible, but maybe not. I frequently switch between the two (chrome and firefox) and have bugs on DK with both equally frequently. What I usually do is when my current browser gets buggy I'll switch to the other, then when it gets buggy switch back. Annoying but it's what I've been doing for the past year or so...
Unless you are using IE9 or later I would not recommend internet explorer. Using early versions is dangerous as it makes you vulnerable, especially if you are on sites with flash or Java.
I switched from IE to Google Chrome and have far fewer issues than I used to have. I occasionally get the message but not often. I do have my comments disappear from time to time.
I had to reluctantly switch from Firefox some months ago and am now using Google Chrome with no problems. I'm sorry that you get' I'm sorry' or sometimes 'we're sorry' It would drive me to distraction too as I have little patience.
I did in fact post an example right at the beginning of this discussion but I guess said tech person did not bother to read it. It has absolutely nothing to do with Word and pasting since that is something I rarely do. When I do it it is because I am afraid of losing something that took me a long time to compose and I never had a formatting problem with pasting it. I can post a link here of exactly the comment I was trying to respond to today. I was tying to respond to this comment:

Hi Kyoko,
I do most of my layer work in Photoshop. I'll often paint several versions of a painting in Corel Painter - sometimes focusing on just the eyes or the fur or the background - and then I'll stack those layers in Photoshop and use Layer Masks to bring out one area of this one, and one area of another one. (Does that make sense?) "
ARRGH! I've never typed something into word and then copied and pasted it into a discussion but I was still getting those sorry messages repeatedly...just not this week, yet.
I actually am sorry you are having this frustrating experience, F.
Ditto to all F....I find it's sporadic....and sometimes get "lulled" into thinking all is well....until the next time and then I get so frustrated I just give up and don't bother posting when I'd like to.
I think it's good that some of us are venting our frustration and speaking of times we don't post because of it.
I am using Firefox and get the "sorry" message sporadically. It doesn't matter if I type directly into the reply box or compose in Word and copy paste using the button in the Reply Box tool bar. I simply open another browser page and try again which usually works. I have also had problems with not all of my reply showing up after hitting the "add reply" button.
I have the partial reply problem all the time as well. Also the "edit reply" option only works about 30% of the time, on either browser.
Ok Mr. Tech. I just responded to Camilla's last post twice but I got "We're sorry".
Camilla,Oh, yes, another annoying glitch of late. I edit a reply, I see the typed edit but it does not appear when reposted!
Exactly, I have had that happen lately too! More then once!
