Time to use your imagination to make up a game in the Doggie Olympics
- snatching treats from toddlers hands
- best roll of something dead and stinky in the yard
- most turns (the spins) when biting and chasing their tail
-also in that catagory,, most turns before taking a poo

Okay, your turn

Of course/ those of you with cats may want to add a game. For example: Litter Boxing!

Jackdoodle will proudly represent the United States Olympic Doodle Team in the event for which he is currently the ranking World Champion: The Bladder of Steel event.

Usually not televised due to the time factor, (as well as the aesthetics), the Bladder of Steel gold medal goes to the dog who refuses to urinate for the longest period of time. Bonus points for those dogs who qualify for the event while taking prednisone.

JD's current record is 36 hours.

In the female catagory, last year's winner was Starlit with the gold medal
Bladder!!! 48+++++ hours.
This event is very hard on the canine manager and trainer :)

Amen to that!

Guinness has a bladder the size of a "pea", so he won't qualify for this event....and Murph thinks he should go every time his brother does.

Wow,wow, wow!  Think I'd be a basket case by the end of about, oh, 12 hours...!!!

Ned has never been timed in this event, however he might place in the top 8 finals - especially if one ratios/handicaps in the doodle's size.

Vern could get the silver medal. He thinks his name is, "Go Potty, Vern!"

OMD Karen and Joanne. These numbers are astounding! I thought Kona had the Bladder of Steel event but he's got nothin' on Jack and Starlit. That is just crazy! Kona absolutely refuses to go potty at night when we take the dogs out and he won't go first thing in the morning either. Actually I don't know... maybe he does as well as yours and I am just assuming he pees every day. hahaha He's very private about relieving himself.

Bonnie, JD's record is probably even longer than 36 hours. Not as long as Starlit's, but maybe 40 hours. I picked him up from the shelter on a Tuesday night and I don't know when he had last urinated, but he didn't "go" for me until sometime Thursday. By then I was going through the phone book listings for animal behaviorists. One woman told me she was getting shooting pains in her neck just listening to the panic in my voice, lol!

These days, even on prednisone, he routinely goes 14+ hours without peeing.

Luca easily goes 14 hours daily. Camels all.

Laughing until tears are rolling down my face about the woman saying she was getting shooting pains in her neck listening to you panicking! No one has said that to me, but I guarantee they have thought it. (mostly my mellow DH)
