Get Your Photos Ready for the 2013 Doodle Calendars!

We start accepting photo submissions for our 2013 Doodle Calendars in September.  Although that's a month away I wanted to get everyone ready and I want you to know what to expect.  Here is where you can read about the type of photos we'll be looking for: http://www.doodlekisses.com/page/calendar-photo-requirements 

(same as last year).

Pixel size should be 2300 x 1800 or so.  You should be able to right click and get information on the picture.

Rudy certainly is adorable.  The pictures show up pretty small so I wonder if they would be big enough to submit though.

Rudy is just so cute.  I like the Puppy Power one best, however they are all cute.  If you right click on the photo when they are on your computer you can get info  as to the size of the picture.  This one of Ned is 3.6 mb 3579 x 2592: And this one of Clancy has been cropped to 158KB - 444 x555 pixels.  This one is too small to be in the calendar because if you enlarged it to 8 x 11 size it would be blurry.  The one of Ned would still be clear because it has more pixels. But see how here there both look the same size.  That is what I am talking about with Rudy's pictures and the size.

Hi Nancy,

Very cute pictures! I did right click on Rudy's Puppy Power pic and the dimensions are 1536 x 2048 with the width at 1536 pixels and the height at 2048 pixels and the vertical and horizontal resolution at 72 dpi. I can always send some other pics if this one will not work.

Rudy is SO cute!  Those should be perfect size-wise then.  Good.  Now you will have to choose your favorites and the ones you think most likely to work for mass production.  You will be submitting them to Adina when she says the time is right.  Until then, you can keep shooting and keep a file of the ones you like best.
