Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
Ok folks, I am winging it here but we're going to have a St Patrick's day photography competition and I being the only Irish person here who is living on this emerald isle have nominated myself the one and only judge. The rules are as follows.
1. Photographs must be submitted to this discussion before and up to the day in question.
2. All photographs must be current (no sneaking in earlier years)
3. Photographs must include Doodles in St Patrick's Day mode
4. Only Doodles and no humans to be included.
5. Naked Doodle pictures are accepted (so no excuses for the bare bods) but the backdrop must be St Patrick's day theme
6. Multiple entries ARE permitted
I will decide on the prize depending on my mood but it will be something Irish ( it may or may not be in good taste!) and will be posted to the winner.
The winner will be announced on Monday evening (my time)

Thanks, TaraBear! :) Trav is disgusted--he's never worn clothes before and hopes never to do so again. For that, I think we're getting the prize! Whooo hoooo!!!!
You succumbed : ( Trav seems to have taken it like a man.
Trav tried to eat the shirt--he says he wants to join the Naked Doodle club. :)
I knew he was a smart guy!
JD says, WTG, Trav! You're in.
Watch out, there's a holiday coming soon where they try to dress you up like a bunny! Could there be anything in the world more humiliating for a dog than to be dressed as a bunny?
Tearing things up is fine, if it's in your space it's fair game. But don't eat it!
Oh, no! Not a bunny!!!! Trav would take his antler and run away, at least to a different room. :)
Loving this post!! All the entrants look fabulous! Sure glad I'm not the one that has to decide! :)
Tara decided to break all the rules (Irish Tradition) and submit her entry using her name instead of a costume. Since she shares her name with the famous Hill of Tara found in Ireland she feels this is worthy of a winning entry. After all she has the name all year long not just one day of the year like certain costume wearers!!!
Tara Hill: (Sacred 'Heart' of Island).
The Hill of Tara, known as Temair in Gaelic, was once the ancient seat of power in Ireland – 142 kings are said to have reigned there in prehistoric and historic times. In ancient Irish religion and mythology Temair was the sacred place of dwelling for the gods, and was the entrance to the otherworld. Saint Patrick is said to have come to Tara to confront the ancient religion of the pagans at its most powerful site.
Also, Tara said she would be most pleased if you would send her the Tara Brooch as her prize for winning the contest!! LOL!
TaraBear should definitely get the Brooch, if for no other reason than having her mom provide such interesting info about her name! I'm sure Nicky will send it along to you...:)
Thank you Pat. Yes, I would TaraBear would be happy with Brooch even if she lost the contest! LOL!!
Here is my little Sophie doodle all dressed up. She doesn't have anything for St Patrick's Day yet besides a collar, but since she is such a ham when she sees a camera come out we decided we needed to improvise with a human St Patrick's Day shirt! as you can see, it is much too big on her and you cant even see the really festive part of it, but oh well! we wanted so show her being festive anyways :)
P.s.- sorry its sideways! i dont know how to fix it!
Can you repost the photo ( the second box on the icon bar above) as I can't see Sophie there is just a little ? showing : (
