Goldendoodle Breeders in Northern California?

Hi Everyone,
My husband and I live in San Francisco and are looking for a medium-size Goldendoodle. Does anyone have recommendations of breeders in Northern California? I've come across Almond Blossom, as well as Sutter Buttes. Does anyone have any feedback about either of those ones, or other suggestions of breeders to look into? Thanks!

No ideas for you, but look at the owner-recommended breeders group! It has some great info! Also, Adina has some great information on what to look for when contacting a breeder. A lot of breeders will ship dogs too, but it is always best to go and check the place out! Welcome!

Hi Kristen! You might try www.alittleblessing4u.com . Carina is very sweet, gives a good guarantee and health test her dogs. I'm not sure what she has available right now, but I'm sure she would be happy to put you on one of her wait lists. Hope this helps! Pam

Aside from the owner recommended group there is the Golden Doodle Puppies For Sale group. Breeder responses and recommendations are not allowed on the main page but you'll find info. in the groups.

Parker said, breeders are not allowed to post info or promote their businesses, and others should really not be recommending breeders in the main forum either, as providing links or promoting anyone's business is against the DK guidelines. That's why we have groups here for the purposes of finding a puppy.

Another suggestion, you could look into the groups for dogs from those breeders (there is an Almond Blossom group as well as a group for Sutter Buttes). Contacting others who have dogs from breeders you are interested in can be helpful to get their feedback and experience. It can also be useful to look at pictures of the dogs from those breeders and read about their characteristics to help you determine the best fit for you.
