Today is the day that our Party Hearty Doodle Friends are packing up and heading out to meet in Cancun !

They will be wearing their bikini's, and schmoozing with Flat Laurie. Dancing with Tim, and drinking a lot of booze

Safe travels.  It will be quiet around here.  We will miss you and look forward to all the stories when you return.

We are SO excited.  We went on the first Doodle vacation and it was really amazing, so of course we saved and saved to go last year.  Our son, Tim, got a blood clot in his leg and at the last minute we had to cancel....he was the most heartbroken of all.  So we planned to go on the trip this year....and Tim had two mini strokes over the past eight weeks and again we thought we might not be able to go....double heartbroken.  Well the Doctor says we should go...so we are...with his chart and the Doctor's personal cell phone number.  We are leaving in the morning...and we'll deal with whatever comes our way with Tim, but I know from our first experience that there is nothing like this group of Doodle lovers.  It will be amazing and so special....so in years to come (because there will always be a DK vacation) consider joining...you won't be sorry.  Get ready for pictures and stories (at least the ones we can repeat).  THANK YOU TO LAURIE (FUDGE AND VERN)...for planning this great Doodle Lover experience!

I'm packed and ready to go! My luggage is over the weight limit, but that's only because of the 17 Tervis tumblers I'm bringing. We need something to drink out of!

The sad part is you will not hear all the stories LOL.  Some just won't be able to be published LOL. 

I would suggest to everyone to try and make next years trip.  My DH and I had a great time last year.  I'm sad we couldn't go this year but next year we ARE there....
