Hello Again!
Does anyone have any recommendations for good quality rawhide alternatives? I have been reading about rawhide and know about the dangers. (toxins, choking, sommonela, etc..) I would prefer not to give her bully sticks because of the smell and some other reasons.. I have seen these dental things called "Whimzies" at PetSmart and Petco and was wondering how long they last, and are they good for them? Long-lasting chewy things keep her busy and out of the garbage can ;)
Also, are there any good brands in Pet Stores?
Thanks! :^)

We have all kinds of recommendations and discussions about all kinds of chews in The Food Group. Also recommended brands and sourcing.
Thank you! I have seen the Benebone before but wasn't sure if it was good or not. Next time we go to the pet store I will get it:) I have also heard about the Himalayan dog chew, but never saw it before.
I just started giving Teddy the Whimzies, but he goes through them in like 5 minutes. Was also giving him the Himalayan bones for a long time, which he loves- only problem is once it gets down to a small enough size he swallows it and then feels sick for a day and ends up throwing it up. Would love to find something safe that he loves and would last long!
Jenny, I have microwaved them before and Teddy loves them too- it's getting him to pry his mouth open when they get small to get them out that's the problem!!! Ha!
A friend recently discovered and recommended No-Hide Chicken Chews from Earth Animal, and my two love these. They last a long time, and are made in the USA. As with any type of chew, you'll obviously need to supervise. I have been buying the largest size available, and when they get too small, I take them away. http://www.earthanimal.com/earth-animal-treats-and-chews/no-hide-ch...
These look great- I am going to give them a try- thank you!
My doodles LOVE these! They last a loooonnnnggggg time
