Like the rest of you I hated using anything around my sweeties’ necks to walk. And I found this really great harness that I always recommend. They just sent me an email for free shipping so I thought I would pass their offer on to my friends here at DK! Their free holiday shipping is at http://WalkYourDogWithLove.com/freeshipping I just bought my Aunt a new one in orange for her new puppy (They have a puppy promise – so if your dog out grows it the next one up is half price!)
The company is pretty neat because they donate the harnesses for free to rescues for fundraising – I don’t know the details but anyone who knows a rescue (Doodle or otherwise!) should check them and ask them.
What I like about the harness, in addition to it being front-leadin... did i do that link right?

Nope, i didn;t do the link right!-
What I like about the harness, in addition to it being front-leading (makes walking Jasper easier because of the steering) it that it is so much less confusing than the other ones and it keeps it size! Also they are made in the USA and they have reflective material which I am appreciating at 4:40 when it is dark out (give me back my sun!) Happy Holidays
People can use whatever device they want, but I just have to say that the name of this device offends me. I love my dogs just fine. In fact, I LOVE them so much, I choose to take the time to train them so that when they are out in public they walk beautifully on a standard buckle collar and leash, or heck.... no leash at all.
I guess you would have to talk to the president of Walk Your Dog With Love about that! My dogs are all loose leash trained too (I agree with you - folks should spend time with their dog –I wish more would!) yet I just hate having anything around their necks for leash walking, it is just not necessary and since I can make this choice . . . I do!
I use a similar harness - the easy walk. Training hasnt stopped Cooper from pulling when she gets excited and i have back and wrist injuries, so training lots with a pulling dog is more damaging for me. She walks beautifully with her harness. I too love the fact its attaches at the front, this way Cooper can still wear her coat when it rains, and her backpack in the summer.
I see that you have only made two posts on this site and both are about this harness. Do you work for or have some affiliation to this company by chance?
BruceGirl - Nope, just a happy user who wants to share something cool and dog like. And a busy guy – so I don’t post often and haven’t figured out how to use the forum yet and I am seeing what I forget, that one's email gets jammed up with folks replies. I actually used to use other harnesses, and before that a choker. And before that a collar. Which was not good and I hated it. Reason I wrote now is because I got the free shipping email and wanted to share it with other dog friends. I also sent their offer to all my co-workers and the rescues that I work with. And my Mom!
Thanks for sharing!
I use this harness too and I LOVE it! I used it right from the beginning and had to buy a new one when Bo got bigger. Everybody comments on how nice it is to take him for a walk. He never pulls and he does that Doodle strut that I just adore.
After having a 6 pound Yorkie that was the WORST dog that was ever walked, I am so grateful to have found this awesome harness. I WALK MY DOG WITH LOVE and am proud of it!
