Its almost St Patrick's day! In honor of that we are having a "Green Day" for the slideshow. Really its a green two weeks but who's counting? That means if you don't already have a "green" photo, you still have plenty of time to get one. Let me know if you are late to the party and I will add in any late photos. Please tag any photos of your Doodle in any St Patricks Day type theme. Also accepted will be any Doodle wearing anything green, sitting in a green pasture, playing with a green ball...pretty much anything green. All O'Doodles welcome!  The tag is  -  green17

FUN FACTS:

1) Green is associated with Saint Patrick's Day because it is the color of spring, of Ireland, and of the shamrock.

2) There are more Americans of Irish origin than there are Irish in Ireland. There are 36 million U.S. residents who are of Irish ancestry (including me). That number is almost nine times the population of Ireland itself which is 4.7 million

3) 1 in 161 Americans is named Patrick (including my husband). Thats almost 2 million people MORE than the entire population of Dublin, Ireland!

4) Saint Patrick was not even born in Ireland. In fact, he was born somewhere in Great Britain.

5) Saint Patrick’s real name is Maewyn Succat (try saying that five times fast). After becoming a priest, Maewyn adopted the name “Patrick” which means “well-born” in Latin.

Apr 23- Ball crazy Doodles...tag= balls17   Show me your Doodle with his favorite ball. Playing with balls or just carrying it around. Sleeping with balls or in a huge pile of balls. If your Doodle doesn't like balls, you can just show us a photo of him/her with a favorite toy.

May7- Tongues out... tag= tongue17  Doodles are always cute but those happy faces with their tongues hanging out are especially adorable! Happy, hot, tired tongues or tongues sneaking a lick of something they shouldn't have...Lol. Any Doodle tongues are acceptable!

1-- Upload your photo to the main photo page or your own page.
