And she looks like???? Pictures please
Yes, we need to see before and after pictures of little Ms. Chloe!!
I just found out that at Pet Smart, they will brush your dog for 15 min for $6!!, and 30 min, for $12!!

I took Charlie to Pet Smart today, and while I shopped, she got brushed. Her groomer Roxanne even trimmed her feet and gave her bows!! I think I am going to do this more often, so she can stay neat and when she gets groomed, it will be much easier on her.
Hummmm, wonder if all the Pet Smarts do it??
I haven't tried PetSmart but I have done Petco for just baths and brush outs and they have been amazing. I brought Quinn in directly from the park - sheepishly- looking like this:

And afterwards he looked so nice that I had them take one of their "professional" pictures. I love that you can watch them being brushed out through the window, too.

Boy, Quinn looked like he had a great time at the park! What a beautiful boy he is!!! I think that it is probably hit or miss with each PetCo and PetSmart through out the US. If you are lucky enough to find one with a "special" person attending to your Doodle, then that would be a great thing. We never yell at Gracie, yank her around or treat her roughly. I am the type of person who just HAS to know who is handling my baby and how she is being treated. Your picture of Quinn is the way Gracie looks twice a day after her walks and playing ball with her friends! ha ha
I used to take Lucy and Sophie to Petsmart here in Cinti to get their nails trimmed! I never felt like there was a single person that worked there at actually liked dogs. Plus they let Sophie fall off the table (with the noose around her neck). Worst experience ever! Haven't been back in their grooming salon Since. The manager of the salon was always nice and friendly, and even called me at home to apologize for the accident and say that if I would come back she wouldn't let anyone but her handle them, but I just haven't had the nerve to take them back.
I had a good experience at the PetSmart near me. The groomer wanted to talk to me endlessly about what I wanted, and she did exactly what I asked for. I paid $11 extra for expedited service--he was there less than 4 hrs and was never in a crate. He was the only dog there too. I love going to local, independently run business, but I never received such service from the ones near me.
I've had a good experience with Petsmart. I personally love their daycare, but it is much more expensive than other places. there is a person playing with them, and they limit the numbers so there aren't too many dogs playing together. There are big glass windows looking in, so people ad other pups can watch them play. I personally like that feature. It shows they are open to being watched at their facility, and Darwin always likes watching other people and pups go by through the glass.

As far as grooming, we have had him bathed and brushed three times there, and it has always been great. At our petsmart at least, they try to get them done as soon as possible so they don't spend a ton of time there. He has always been done in 1 to 2 hours. I personally talked to the groomers and they all know him by name and are very nice and friendly. It probably depends on which petsmart you go to, as everyone is different.
