Guess Who Does NOT have Cancer????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's this guy right here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The tumors are benign, but there were abnormal cells that could have turned into cancer down the road so we did a good thing getting it out. He's going to be fine but it doesn't look like this was the cause of the immune-mediated thrombocytopenia, so we're not out of the woods yet. More to come next week when I speak to the oncologist and find out more.

It was only a few short weeks ago that my vet clinic had me believing he was a goner and considering euthanasia. I'm so glad I took the step to consult a specialist. It cost a lot of money to get here, but my boy is well and going to be with me for a while yet. I couldn't be happier.

I'm so happy for this good news!

I swear by veterinary specialists, and in my experience, it ends up being less expensive down the line to get the diagnosis right from the beginning.

Thank you for all you have done and are doing for this very special boy, Sherri. I am so glad the two of you will have more time together, you both deserve it!
