Happy Birthday Polly Wolly Doodle

Today is not a good picture day, but here they are anyway.  Polly turns 1 today and she has been a totally different experience from Meg.  Meg is seriously attached to us, Polly will love on us and cuddle but she doesn't need near as much of that as Meg does.  If Polly was a human she would have a pacifier in her mouth all the time but since she is a doodle it is a ball in her mouth ALWAYS!  She will toss it in your lap in the house so you will throw it, in the yard she holds onto hers and wants you to throw Meg's, she chases it but keeps hers in her mouth, if she gets excited she grabs it right away, if Meg barks at something on the street Polly grabs her ball and then barks around it.  She has grown into a mannerly dog although in spite of Doggy Dan's best effort it is a chore to keep her calm if someone comes to the door.  She used to be a poop eater (in spite of trying every trick out there) but for several months now she is indifferent to it, can't tell you how happy that makes me.  She loves to be groomed and thinks she has to kiss you all the way through it  She is a HEART THIEF and we love her to pieces.  Off now to enjoy her special day.
