Hi all fellow Canadians on DK. Hope you have a wonderful thanksgiving weekend with family and friends. It truly hits home this year how much we have to be grateful for especially if you have good health. DH was initially diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, but we have since found out he has a rare disease called neuroendocrine tumours whose origin is not yet know. Hug your family and friends and say a prayer for all those who need some extra care this thanksgiving.

I am so sorry for your family. I pray that they can find away to make this disease totally manageable . I don't know anything about it but I will read about it.   I know how devastating it can be to be given a diagnoses that is scary and not a lot is known about it.

There is hope. I hope you know we love you and are here for you and support you.

I do believe Steve Jobs had an islet cell tumor of the pancreas, not the standard adenocarcinoma. I think he may well have been cured had he opted for standard medical treatment originally. So I would implore you to get the best medical advice and treatment you can. I think you are a believer in natural treatments but some times you do need the big guns.

Hi Andrea!  We continue to keep best thought for your husband.  I have my family at the cottage on Georgian .Bay and the woodstove is pumping out heat, the turkey is cooking, doodle is sleeping at my dad's feet and baseball is on the TV.  We have much to be thankful for.  Many blessing to you and your family.
